Seung-Hwan OH
Use inks or food colouring between plastic sheets inspired by the work of Seung-Hwan over portraits shot in the studio.
Use the scanner to scan the unique works created and edit in Photoshop.

Mixed media workshop
Use the screen or sheets of textured plastic to shoot through and create a series of portraits in the studio.
Make textured painted backgrounds using paint and pens, scribble, use text scan or re-photograph them and experiment with layering these with your portraits in Photoshop
Rip through and paint on top of your portraits and scan or re-photograph and edit further in Photoshop.
louise mertens - mixed media
Explore the work of Louise Mertens by begining to take a series of
photographs exploring portraiture. work back into the photos with the graphics tablet or hand render with paint or other medias. Experiement with a single colour or tone with dripping ink, splatter with paint, mixed media, etc, to create an inspiring piece.
erin frost - line & symmetry
Experiement with the camera capturing the model through a birds eye view in the studio.
Work back into your image using hand stitch or experiment with the graphic tablet. Make you piece have a focal point where the pattern or random form emulates to create
an Erin Frost inspired piece.
federico cabrera - distortion & fashion
experiment with layers and fragmentation by ofsetting sections of your image. Duplicate and repeat sections to create a distorted portrait based on the work of Federico Cabrera.
Alexandre Bordereau
make a series of portrait photos in and around the unit, duplicate the same position and frame with and without the model present. Take your photos back into photoshop and begin to layer, in your manipulation remove the face, alternatively you could include an object or form to give the piece a surreal twist... as see in the work of Alexandre Bordereau
Angelica Garcia
Take a series of photographs in the studio of your model, edit your image and print. Place some ink mixed with oil between two plastic sleeves, and scan with your printed image. Alternatively you could scan the ink/plastic and manipulate further in photoshop, alter the hue and satuarion and present along side the work of Angelica Garcia.
Take a series of portrait photos in the studio, edit your image and print. Using the polyogonal tool in photoshop, select an area and slightly alter the levels, or move a fraction to offset the alinment. Experiment with shadows and inter locking pattern. Present along side the work of Freuenthal/Verhagen.

Take a series of portrait photos in the studio, edit your image and place in photoshop. Produce a pencil drawing of the bone structure of the face and elaborate with shape and form through line and tone, scan your drawing and place in photoshop. Combine this two images by experiementing with layer blends. Print and present alongside the work of Sanaz Vosough Ghanbari.

Take a series of portrait photos in the studio, edit your image by tracing a silhouette of the outline portrait. Produce a pencil drawing of a scene or favorite place, explore shape,form through line with beautiful rendered tones, scan your drawing and place in photoshop. Combine this two images by placing the drawing inside the portrait. Print and present alongside the work of Pat Perry.
